My
Vargas’s middle school science class had
to prepare a volcano project that lasted about two weeks. Their
requirements were to make a functional volcano that erupts. They
also were required to replicate the environment around the volcano
to demonstrate the effects to the land after eruption. The materials
used in the project were: concrete, plaster, modeling clay, plastic,
glue, vinegar, baking soda, and different types of props used
for the scenery.
“The whole presentation was a success and I am very proud
of how hard the students worked to create these volcanoes,” said
Mr. Vargas.
