Allison Academy received a participation certificate form The National Association for Music Education. We registered our school to participate in the 2006 Music in Our Schools Month to commemorate our activities.  The mission statement of the MENC “is to advance music education by encouraging the study and making of music by all.” This association believes that music allows us to celebrate our cultural heritages because “every individual should be guaranteed the opportunity to learn music and to share in musical experiences”. If you want to learn more about this association, go to this website www.menc.org

Both performances were wonderful. The student’s hard work, practicing for two weeks, paid off. Nayisha Bouzi’s solo called “It Is Well with My Soul” surprised us all, nobody expected her to sing so beautifully. Everybody enjoyed the performance. Thank you, Mrs. Foltz for such a lovely afternoon.
